Background: Bernhard studied psychology at the University of Vienna. His master thesis at the Institute of Psychological Basic Research dealt with psychophysiological measures (ET, GSR) while understanding the content of cubist paintings. Beside his studies he did several internships at usability companies and worked as freelancer for Interface Consult GmbH.

At CURE, Bernhard works on psychological aspects of Ambient Assistend Living (AAL) technologies.
